After a jury vote and a public vote we had a clear champion with both sides.
The winner of the 64th edition of Festivali i Këngës is the song Nân performed by Alis.
The song won both the jury vote and the public vote for a total score of 152 points; a margin of 50 points over the runner-up, Ta Kam Fal by Inis Neziri.
About Alis
Alis is a talented musician who, at the age of only 21, has managed to build an impressive profile in the Albanian music scene.
The artist plays both the piano and guitar, which has enabled him to experiment with different musical styles and create a unique artistic identity.
His career took off after winning the fifth edition of X Factor Albania, an achievement that has opened many doors and even bigger stages for the artist.
A year on from that victory, Alis competed in the 63rd edition of Festivali i Këngës, with the song Mjegull, where he achieved third place, cementing his status as one of the most exciting new voices in Albanian music.
During the summer of 2025, Alis released his signature single (to date), Sta Kam Than; a summer hit that was well received by the public and achieved critical acclaim.
His latest release, Nân, will now represent Albania at the 70th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna.
It comes after the duo Shkodra Elektronike represented Albania at the 69th Eurovision Song Contest in Basel. They managed to take Albania to the Top 10 of the Grand Final with the song Zjerm.
Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest
Albania joined the Eurovision Song Contest in 2004 with Anjeza Shahini performing The Image of You in Istanbul.
She, and every Albanian participant since, has been found using broadcaster Radio Televizioni Shqiptar’s (RTSH) long-running and prestigious Festivali i Këngës (FiK) - an annual music competition established in Tirana in 1962.
As FiK is usually one of the first televised national selections of the season and takes place around December, fans sometimes refer to the occasion as ‘FiKmas’.
As of 2025, Albania’s highest finish came courtesy of the folklore-inspired ballad Suus which Rona Nishliu took fifth place at Baku 2012, and they claimed their biggest points haul at Basel 2025 with Zjerm thanks to Shkodra Elektronike.
