The 2025 Marcel Bezençon Award Winners
Louane is a winner at the 2025 Marcel Bezençon Awards
We may have a little while to wait until we know the results of the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, but in the meantime there are still three other trophies to hand out - the 2025 Marcel Bezençon Awards.
The annual Marcel Bezençon Awards happened in Basel on the evening of Saturday 17 May, with three possible award wins for this year's Eurovision Song Contest Grand Finalists.
Since the awards began in 2002, the Marcel Bezençon Awards - named after the creator of the Eurovision Song Contest - are handed out each year to three winners. The awards were presented in the delegation bubble just before Saturday night’s show by Christer Björkman, Contest Producer of the 69th Eurovision Song Contest.
The Media Award, voted on by the accredited media, was awarded to Louane, who is representing France with her song maman .
Louane also won a second award, the Artistic Award, which is given to the best artistic performance as voted for by the commentators from each participating broadcaster.
Zoë Më from Switzerland won the Composer Award, which is presented to an entry's team of composers, and voted on by all of the participating composers at the year’s Contest. This year, the award was presented to Emily Middlemas, Tom Oehler, and Zoë Anina Kressler. Together they wrote Voyage , performed by Zoë Më and representing Switzerland.
The Eurovision Song Contest would like to congratulate all of this year’s winners on their achievement!
