Inside St. Jakobshalle in Basel

As the artists begin to touch down in Switzerland, here's a run-through of all the ways you can see what they're up to in St. Jakobshalle before the 69th Eurovision Song Contest comes to you live.

Saturday 3 May saw the first 7 artists of Basel 2025 take the stage at St. Jakobshalle and rehearse their Eurovision entries for the very first time. But you absolutely don't have to wait until the Live Shows to catch a glimpse of what your faves are going to be getting up to in their performances.

Ahead of the First Semi-Final on Tuesday 13 May, the Second Semi-Final on Thursday 15 May and the Grand Final on Saturday 17 May, the 37 acts of Basel 2025 are going to be rehearsing on stage, hanging around backstage, and letting the Eurovision Song Contest get to know them a little bit better.

We'll be capturing some of that and sharing it with you. Here's what you can look forward to before 'show week' kicks off!

Reddit Megathread

Follow the Live Blog of the first rehearsals via the Reddit community. The Eurovision Song Contest has its own subreddit , where you can read all of the insights and info from the first few days of Basel-based preparations. Plus, you can join in on the chatter, too; questions about each artist's staging are welcome!

The Eurovision Live Blog will be your as-it-happens guide to what's going on during each of the very first performances from all 37 participants. Here, you'll be able to read about what's being witnessed on stage; from outfits to outlandish choreography.

Beyond the first rehearsals, the Eurovision subreddit will be a go-to place to talk directly with some of the people behind the Eurovision Song Contest, as well as some of the folk participating in it - via the platform's famous AMA (ask me anything) sessions. So keep an eye on the subreddit for more info on that as it gets announced.
