Louane premieres France's song for Basel, 'maman'
Song number 37 is out! 'maman' will be France's 'chanson' for the 69th Eurovision Song Contest.
On Saturday 15 March, France Télévisions debuted the country's song for Basel, maman . Giving the occasion of a Eurovision reveal the grandeur it deserves, the broadcaster arranged for singer Louane to perform her ballad at the closing match of the Six Nations Tournament, France vs Scotland.
The performance took place at the 80,000-capacity Stade de France, which is the national stadium of France, located just north of Paris in the commune of Saint-Denis. The special moment was also live-streamed over on the official Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel .
maman will represent France at the Grand Final of Basel 2025, on Saturday 17 May. The song was composed by Louane herself, along with Tristan Salvati.
