It's time for Eurovision pre-selection number three of the Basel 2025 season!
After Montenegro and Albania held their song competitions in December, Luxembourg will be having the second edition of its Luxembourg Song Contest on Saturday 25 January, before national-final season really kicks into gear in February.
On Saturday night, we're headed to Rockhal in Esche-sur-Alzette. There, Raoul Roos and Loïc Juchem are going to be taking us through an evening of songs and scores, before the Grand Duchy selects its entry for the 69th Eurovision Song Contest in Basel.
And just to show how welcome its international fans are, the show will be brought to us in English and French in parts, as well as being primarily in Luxembourgish.
7 entries have been selected by broadcaster RTL to take part. But they won't be the only songs being performed on the night.
Reigning Luxembourg Song Contest champ TALI will be returning to sing at Saturday's show. And RTL has already hinted that one or two Eurovision Song Contest winners may even be coming along as special guests...
Once the 7 participants have presented their songs, the all-important voting will open.
And for the 2025 edition of Luxembourg Song Contest , voting is simple: scores will be awarded by both a public vote and a jury vote, with a 50% weighting given to each.
So even without the prompts in English and French, it'll be easy to follow!
