The songs of the 68th Eurovision Song Contest... But not as you've heard them before!
If, like us, you've been hitting that repeat button on the 37-song playlist of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, then you'll no doubt know each of the tunes inside-out by now.
Well, some of our 'Class of '24' have anticipated this and put some music-focused measures in place to keep things fresh ahead of the Grand Final in Malmö on 11 May, and beyond. A whole lot of the entries of the 68th Eurovision Song Contest have now either been remixed, had whole new interpretations of them concocted, or they've been stripped back, slowed down and recorded anew.
Each of these new versions have been released officially by their artists, on all major streaming platforms. and we're going to take you through them right now...
With by now a well earned reputation for committing to his art, it's no surprise that the Netherlands' Joost Klein has gone the extra mile and released a whole EP of remixes of his Eurovision song. With new productions from the likes of Used and DJ Paul Estak, he's calling it Europapa: Greatest Hits . Into it.
The United Kingdom's Olly Alexander might also induce a Dizzy feeling when you listen to all of the remixes of his Eurovision song that he's curated for release. The British popstar has put out a quaternity of mixes, coming courtesy of ESSEL, MONSS, Prezioso and LIZOT.
More mixes of our Malmö 2024 songs have come thanks to Liran Shoshan ( Liar by Silia Kapsis for Cyprus), Brais ( 11:11 by MEGARA for San Marino) and Tseba ( One Milkali (One Blood) by Electric Fields for Australia).
And the global superstar producer Felix Jaehn has also come onboard to Malmö's Eurovision party, with the German DJ remixing Nemo's The Code , representing Switzerland.
Some of the artists' new versions of their songs have been released to coincide with the Eurovision Song Contest's own series A Little Bit More , in which artists release videos of exclusive performances via our official YouTube channel .
Finland's Windows95man contributed both a Classical Version and a Spa Mix of his song for Malmö, No Rules! . And now, he's released the recordings onto streaming too. So too has France's Slimane, who has put out a more clubbed-up version of his ballad Mon amour - the Meya Rework, which even features a dance break!
Two of our artists have - since debuting their songs for the 68th Eurovision Song Contest - reimagined these compositions as a duet; roping in some top-tier names in the process!
Spain's Nebulossa made such an impression on Gloria Trevi during a recent trip to the United States, that the Mexican singer and actress recorded and released a new version of the duo's smash hit ZORRA , with the duo themselves.
A Spanish flavour was also brought across the Balearic Sea to Italy, when Angelina Mango added a guest feature onto her Sanremo winner La noia . Spanish artist Álvaro de Luna sings his parts on the song in his native española, making Angelina's current chart climber a bilingual bop!
And lastly, we love a stripped-back interpretation of a Eurovision song, allowing us to hear our fiery faves in a much more intimate setting.
Several of our Malmö 2024 performers have released an acoustic version of their Eurovision songs to streaming, to give fans another way to listen to the compositions ahead of the week of Live Shows. These include the entries from Poland (LUNA's The Tower ), Slovenia (Raiven's Veronika ), Serbia (TEYA DORA's RAMONDA ), Latvia (Dons' Hollow ), Cyprus (Silia Kapsis' Liar ) and the United Kingdom (Olly Alexander's Dizzy ).
Ireland's Bambie Thug, meanwhile, has released a piano-led version of their song Doomsday Blue - and they too were kind enough to film a unique performance video especially for A Little Bit More.
