HOW TO WATCH: Ukraine's pre-selection for Vienna 2026 starts at 18:00 CET on Saturday 7 February. If you're watching from outside of Ukraine, you can stream it on broadcaster Suspilne's YouTube channel.

On Saturday 7 February Ukrainian broadcaster Suspilne will hold what will be the tenth edition of Vidbir.

Throughout its first decade, the annual showcase of Ukraine's music scene has proven itself to be a reliable bringer of bops to Eurovision fans during national final season. And, of course, Ukraine's scorecard at the Eurovision Song Contest over the past ten years speaks for itself; with two victories and four more Top 10 finishes.

Lesia Nikitiuk and Timur Miroshnychenko will host Vidbir 2026

Vidbir 2026 will be hosted by Ukrainian TV presenter Lesia Nikitiuk and a face that will be familiar to many Eurovision Song Contest fans, host of Kyiv 2017 Timur Miroshnychenko. 

Ten songs will compete for the Vidbir 2026 trophy on Saturday night. After all songs have been performed, Ukraine's song for Vienna will be selected by the combination of a public vote and a professional jury.

Regular Vidbir viewers will know that as well as an enticing lineup of competitors, Suspilne always lays on a superb selection of guest performances to enjoy through the evening, too.

The opening act will be performed by the winners of Vidbir 2025, Ziferblat. The band will sing the song that they took to the Top 10 of the Grand Final of Basel 2025, Bird of Pray.

The Vidbir 2026 broadcast will also feature performances by:

  • TARABAROVA, Sofia Nersesian (JESC 2025), Artem Kotenko (JESC 2024), Anastasia Dymyd (JESC 2023) and musicians from Superhumans Centre
  • Zlata Ognevich (Ukraine 2013) and TVORCHI (Ukraine 2023)
  • Jamala (Ukraine 2016) accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of Ukrainian Radio
  • Moldova's artist for Vienna 2026, Satoshi.
