AIDAN
AIDAN is one of Malta’s most successful artists in recent years. His recordings and live shows have seen him become a staple on the charts and stages across Malta.
A familiar face at festivals, AIDAN has also performed at national-celebration events, including the Malta’s New Year’s Eve festivities in front of over 50,000 people. In 2024 and 2025, he reached a new career milestone by headlining his own concert at the Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre (MFCC), the country’s largest arena, performing to sold-out crowds of more than 10,000 fans.

In 2023 he released his debut album This Is AIDAN, following it in 2025 with the seven-track EP Wild, Wild, Wild. AIDAN has previously finished in the runner-up position at Malta Eurovision Song Contest, back in 2022 with his song Ritmu. The track went on to spend multiple weeks at number 1 on the Maltese radio airplay chart.
Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest
Malta first competed at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1971 and took part three times throughout the '70s before taking a break from the Contest until 1991.
Since then, Malta has participated at every Contest since. In its first decade back, Malta finished inside the Top 10 a total of nine times.
Malta's best result remains two silver-medal finishes - in 2002 with 7th Wonder by Ira Losco and again in 2005 with Angel by Chiara.
In the 2020s, Malta has made two Grand Final appearances, finishing in the Top 10 again in 2021 with Je Me Casse by Destiny, and breaking a three-year non-qualification streak in 2025 with SERVING by Miriana Conte.
