Your guide to Moldova's Eurovision pre-selection
HOW TO WATCH: Selecția Națională begins at 18:00 CET on Saturday 17 January. If you're outside of Moldova, you'll be able to stream the show live on broadcaster TRM's online player.
Much like Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest, Selecția Națională is BACK!

The country's pre-selection format will be deciding the song that will represent Moldova at Vienna 2026. And the latest edition of the long-running showcase of Moldovan musical merit will take place on Saturday 17 January in the country's largest indoor venue, Chișinău Arena.
On the morning of the live show, the producer revealed to Moldovan media that the event has sold out, so viewers can expect a full hall of hyped-up music fans when they tune in!

After a period of song submissions and a round of live auditions, broadcaster TRM has selected 16 acts to take part in Selecția Națională 2026. Ahead of the live show, you can listen to each of the entries over on the official Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel.
Here's your Selecția Națională 2026 lineup, in the order that they'll be performing in on the night:
Artiom Topal – MONEY

Adelisha – Alegria
Maxim Zavidia – ALLO
Evghenii Avramov & ALenin Ivan – FOC LA GHETE

Scoring will come from three sources; a public vote, a 15-member national jury and an international jury made up of five established artists, former Eurovision participants and winners. An equal weighting will be given to the points from all three when determining the scores.
And TRM has also promised a huge volume of bonus entertainment, too!
Many Moldovan artists who have represented their country at the Eurovision Song Contest over the years have been invited to perform: Nelly Ciobanu, SunStroke Project, Natalia Barbu, DoReDoS, Natalia Gordienko, Cristina Scarlat and Zdob și Zdub. And the production team have also teased that we'll be getting some international interval acts, also.
The winner on the night will represent Moldova at the 70th Eurovision Song Contest in May. After taking a one year break from the Contest in 2025, at Vienna 2026 we'll be seeing Moldova's 20th performance on the Eurovision stage.
